Go Heels!

I forgot to include in my post from this morning about how ready we are for the NCAA basketball tournament finals tonight! Although the game starts way past his bedtime, Henry is excited to cheer on his team. He is very proud to be a Tar Heel. We have all had fun watching basketball this year. Other than Carolina doing so well, my favorite part of March Madness has definitely been that my bracket is doing better than John Eick’s 🙂

Rollin’ on the River

Good Morning!
A mere month ago, John and I had a long conversation in which we wondered if we should be worried that Henry wasn’t rolling yet. We decided not to worry about it. Well, in the past week and a half I guess he decided he was ready to get rollin’. And, believe it or not, our rolling baby has now become a stomach sleeper. YES! The same baby who used to despise tummy time now sleeps on his belly! I was certainly startled the first time I found him asleep that way 🙂

We have also been enjoying the beautiful spring weather with lots of runs and long walks. Henry is now big enough to be in the front of the stroller (instead of in the carseat attached to the stroller), which takes off a lot of weight. This has made running much more enjoyable for me. This past weekend Henry, Lucy, and I went for a long run in our neighborhood. I have really gotten back into running the past couple of months and it feels great. To me, there is nothing quite like the feeling after a good long run.

Here are some pictures from Easter Sunday. John had the day off and we had a wonderful day as a family. We went to church together, had some friends over for lunch, and enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This afternoon Henry and I are going to hike along the Haw River with some friends. Chapel Hill has so many cool spots to enjoy being outside. It is one of the many things I love about living here!
